10 RVs With An Outdoor Kitchen That Are Perfect For Camping

The addition of an outdoor kitchen on RVs has become increasingly popular in recent years. Outdoor kitchens allow RV owners to cook meals without missing out on the action around the campsite. Furthermore, owning an RV with an outdoor kitchen allows you to have a full-functioning kitchen next to your grill. While tons of RVs come with an outdoor kitchen, their size and usefulness vary depending on your RV and its floor plan.

Outdoor kitchens are a fantastic addition to any RV if you require additional cooking space or if you need to wash up without needing to go inside. An outdoor kitchen can also benefit from making your outdoor setup easier. For example, if your outdoor kitchen comes with additional counter space and a stovetop, the setup and tear down will be faster.

With that said, you might be asking yourself what are some RVs with good outdoor kitchens. Well, you’ve come to the right place!

We have done a lot of research on this topic and have toured numerous RVs. Through this, we have come up with a list of our ten favorite RVs with fabulous outdoor kitchen setups.

As you continue to read this article, we will help you decide if you want or need an outdoor kitchen. Then we will cover each of the outdoor kitchens on our list while providing pros and cons, which will help you decide what type of outdoor kitchen you want.

Do You Want or Need an Outdoor Kitchen on Your RV?

Having an outdoor kitchen installed on your RV is a nice bonus, but it’s not necessary for many people. However, you gain some minor benefits from having an outdoor kitchen in your RV. For example, if you are cooking a large meal for a party or your large family, the indoor kitchen might not have enough space to cook everything. Furthermore, an outdoor kitchen allows you to cook lunch or dinner for your friends and family without missing out on the fun if everyone is outside. Moreover, most outdoor kitchens will include a sink, which can be an excellent spot to wash your hands and face in while also providing fresh drinking water without needing to head inside.

If you are interested in RVs with an outdoor kitchen, you should decide if it is a must-have amenity. If you decide that an outdoor kitchen is a must-have in your RV, then you need to consider what you want your outdoor kitchen to have. For example, does your outdoor kitchen need to have a refrigerator, sink, stovetop, or grill? All of these additions to your outdoor kitchen will play a role in your final choice for your new RV.

The appliances and setup of the outdoor kitchen can change how frequently it is used and how it is used. If you want to use your outdoor kitchen as your primary cooking station, then you should consider looking for RVs with larger outdoor kitchens. These kitchens will come with more storage and counter space and a larger refrigerator and cooking surface. On the other hand, you can look for a smaller outdoor kitchen if you want a place to store additional drinks, snacks, and a sink to wash up in.

Something to remember is that the size of an RV does not dictate the size and complexity of its outdoor kitchen. For example, the Palomino Puma is one of the smaller RVs on our list and comes with one of the more robust kitchens on the list. Furthermore, you should be aware that outdoor refrigerators and microwaves require a 110v outlet and will only work when plugged in. The outdoor refrigerator will only run on electricity and not propane like your indoor refrigerator. This can cause some issues for some people and should be known.

Final Thoughts

Outdoor kitchens are a fantastic way to stay in touch with your friends and family who are enjoying the outdoors while you prepare a meal. And with some RV models coming with an outdoor entertainment center, you can host tailgate parties with awesome hamburgers or hotdogs for everyone. There are tons of RVs out there with outdoor kitchens that will vary in size and amenities.

While an outdoor kitchen is an excellent addition to any camping trip and provides a few minor benefits, they are not seen as a necessity for everyone. Some people will love sitting outside all day and cooking up a meal or two for their family. Still, most people will go camping to have a fun day before retreating inside to relax in a cooled environment and lounge on a comfortable furniture.

We hope that our outdoor kitchen guide has provided you with the information you were seeking, and we hope you fall in love with one of our favorite RV outdoor kitchens.
